We’ve had 60 events registered already — SIXTY! Last year’s Circuit was 85 events, and we’ve already hit 60 for 2016 with over a month till they even begin. This year’s gonna be huge! Check out the list and map here:
Two things you can do with that map: find out where events ARE and where they AREN’T. And if there isn’t a Circuit scheduled for your area yet, hit the pavement, blow up phones, post memes, and tell your local TDs and clubs about this opportunity. All the details they need are at this page, including an Event Registration Form:
We’ve got some Player’s Pack and Fundraiser info available now. The three unreleased models have been known for a while, but now we can tell you definitively which extra models you’ll be able to buy with the 2016 Circuit stamp. For full Player’s Pack page, click here:
Extras and fundraisers include: Plasma Photon & Plasma Wave (!!!), Proton Resistor (!!!), Axiom Watermelon Theory, and Electron & Electron Soft Ion. The big Plasma drivers are fundraisers for this season, and the Proton Resistor has been in high demand on the forums and being market tested with this 2016 Circuit release. We thought Proton Resistor and Proton Matrix would make a nice overstable treat for this year.
Now for the Player’s Pack trio of discs. In a nutshell, we’ve got two understable models flanking an overstable mid. Huh? Yes. We’ve snuck some deep golf theory into our Player’s Pack to accommodate all skill levels — you will have the tools to throw what works, albeit an unconventional setup.
Understable fairway driver — some folks are gonna love it, some will hate it. But nobody in the world is too strong to use an understable fairway driver, they just haven’t found its magic yet. For players who like to throw hard, this will be a roller or high tailwind line-worker — OR if they’re tuned into understable fairway lines, it’ll be a familiar deep flip laser cruiser or a turnover driver, similar to the performance of one of those spotted jungle cats. Beginners and intermediate players will love its flight since it takes so little power to get it going straight, and it powers up to a great hyzerflip.
To bring balance to the understable force of the Signal — how about a flat candy overstable midrange you can lay into hard all day? The Matrix is based on a new core, but will fall into the MVP Axis/Vector class of 13mm mids. It’s flat overstable Proton goodness. For harder throwers it may be their go-to driver for the Circuit, with the Signal taking on a utility mid role. Remember these types of events are for everyone and every skill set, and it’s not a distance showcase. We’ve picked a driver and a midrange that has something for everyone. (You can still bathe yourself in the beefy goodness of a Proton Resistor before and after the round!)
To close out those putts and get you to the pin on shorter holes, we’ve got the Electron Spin. This is a classic deep-dish putter style using the same core as our MVP Ion/Anode models. The Spin has a workable understability that starts coming out at approach flight speeds. It’s that gritty Electron feel we all love, with a flight character that loves to be thrown softly. This really cruises in for putts, and it approaches well. There’s a fade at the end of flight that helps you range your shot.
